This Privacy Policy explains how ClipNest Cloud Plugin ("the Plugin"), a desktop extension for Adobe Premiere Pro, accesses and uses Google user data from Google Drive. The Plugin is designed to operate entirely locally on your device and to minimize data access to what is strictly necessary for its functionality.
The Plugin requests a single Google Drive read-only scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly. This scope allows the Plugin to list folders and files, retrieve metadata, preview media, and download files that you explicitly select for local editing.
The Plugin does not request additional Google API scopes (such as Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, or OpenID profile scopes).
Read-only access means the Plugin cannot modify, delete, upload, or share your Drive files. Access is limited to user-initiated actions performed within the Plugin UI.
Google Drive user data accessed by the Plugin may include:
The Plugin does not operate external servers for Google Drive processing. All interactions with Google APIs occur directly between the Plugin running on your device and Google services using secure HTTPS connections.
Downloaded files are stored locally in a directory you choose.
OAuth access tokens and credentials are stored locally on your device
(for example, under ~/.bbcloudplugin/sessions/google_drive)
and are never transmitted to external servers or third parties.
The Plugin does not collect, aggregate, or centrally store Google user data. All processing is performed locally and only in response to explicit user actions.
We do not sell, trade, or share Google user data with third parties. Google Drive data is accessed only by the Plugin and Google APIs and remains on your device.
ClipNest Cloud Plugin’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
The Plugin does not use Google user data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or AI/ML model training. Google user data is not sold, transferred, or shared with third parties, and no human access occurs unless you explicitly request technical support.
You may revoke the Plugin’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account security settings. You may also delete any locally stored files and authentication tokens from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Plugin or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
